George Eddy Papers 1806-1894

George Eddy (b. 1799) was a New York farmer who was a captain in the state militia, a justice of the peace in Pittsford, Monroe County, and a post office employee in Lansingville, Tompkins County. The collection consists of legal and military papers, including indentures, parade orders, receipts, return of delinquents (for court martial), and Eddy's resignation from the militia.
